Maureen Casey is the founder, Director, and primary caregiver at Los Gozosos-Guatemala, an orphanage in Chimaltenango, Guatemala for 25+ children with special needs.  Maureen founded Los Gozosos in 2003 to provide a home specifically for children rejected by other state-run children's homes and children whose impoverished families cannot take care of their special needs.  Maureen is integral in providing a secure, loving environment that provides individual attention to each child's needs.  She is a staunch advocate for these kids, both in Guatemala and among her supporters in the United States.  We appreciate any help you can offer to cover Maureen's personal support, so her efforts can continue to be focused on caring for the children and running the home.
